Suggestions
Do you have an amazing idea for a great plot that you want the mods to try and put into play? Or do you just think you can give us some advice to make our jobs a little easier? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated! Please reply here with your suggestion and we will get back to you as soon as we can. |
Re: Monthly Training Temple Rotation
Maybe instead of going down the follower count rankings, there could just be a minimum follower count requirement (10k? 15k? something like that?) and have players sign up to volunteer for it. That would skip the hassle of checking everyone to see who's actually interested or not as well as open up the option to more players/characters who'd otherwise have to wait ages to get their chance.
Re: Monthly Training Temple Rotation
Now I'm wondering where the static list might live. I guess it could be a simple word document that mods update this first time with, say, April + May + June, but then each CR meme we open it up for additional sign-ups?
IDK whether we'd Randomize it at that point if 2+ people sign up for a specific month, or first come first serve. I'd been hoping that going with Follower Count preference might avoid us having no consistent ("fair", "predictable") way to pick someone each month. I think as long as we have something like that in place - a consistent rule - than we don't have to use Follower Counts or something else that favors older characters too much.

Another way would maybe be to have 'up and coming gods'. That is the god who gained the most followers the previous month gets offered it and it goes from there, next most gained etc. Then it will be more random (as it won't necessarily favour older more established gods) but still sort of have the same 'ic prestige thing' as in 'oo this god gained a large following of people in the last few weeks, let's go see what they are doing right!'
Just a random idea. But I also like the idea of sign ups as well so this was just something I was going to suggest before Add put up their idea (and then forgot) and I decided to still throw it out there regardless!
