First of all, let me start by saying that I'm so sorry the pairing system hasn't worked out for you. I wish there was more we could do to make sure that a pair of shinki/god will come to fruition, but unfortunately that relies too heavily on the players for us to do much about it.

Second, I understand where your frustration is coming from, but a lot of the things that you have trouble with are things that we cannot fix for fear of making the shinki not actually shinki anymore. I will say, however, that shinki are not as useless as you seem to think they are. Their gods cannot do much without them either, and a lot of the benefits of playing a shinki come from playing out their growth as a person without their memories.

Furthermore, I would like to state that there are plans in the works to make prayers and events that allow shinki to function on their own agency. The game itself is still fairly new, so things are moving along slowly and things will change at a gradual pace.

I hope that you'll be able to stick it out to see it come to fruition, but I do understand that playing characters in a setting that is not clicking can be difficult.
