Unfortunately, we have no way that we can gauge what would make a character 'genius' enough to master these spells in the timeframe that it took Yukine to. In fact, it's not even really sure what it is about Yukine that allowed him to learn so quickly.

We have to keep everyone to the same basic framework. Sorry about that.
