Sorry for the delay!

1. For a shinki who becomes a god and keeps the same canonpoint, it's up to you as a player whether he will remember the non-canon death you wrote up for him as a shinki or whether he'll remember only the canon events. Either is fine.

2. For this, you're free to either thread out or handwave Judar being introduced to the specialists in that magic; it would be possible for him to learn it, but this is a complex subject, and it's likely to take several IC years of study for him to become proficient and a decade or more to become expert -- in other words, it's something you're free to have him continuing to work on in the background, but it's not something that he'd see any short-term results from in terms of being able to actually create and cast this kind of spell. The shinki he spoke to would give him these time estimates in their first conversation.

3. What exactly are the definitions of "light" versus "dark" energy in Judar's perception? If it's a question of pure versus corrupted, then he would definitely see the Heavens overall as being universally pure/uncorrupted, with the very occasional incursions of ayakashi or other "corrupt" beings standing out like a sore thumb (this is something that you can check in with us about on specific events or if Judar is investigating specific gods' temples). On the Near Shore, active shrines, holy places or recently purified areas would be noticeable as "light," whereas places that had seen lots of human activity and negative emotion, places infested by ayakashi, and places where vents had been opened would appear "dark."

If it's some other kind of mechanic, it might not map as clearly onto the TFS-native definition -- we'll be happy to work with you as to what he might see as light/dark!
